Sage Yang came to the U.S. from Korea when she was 10, and has grown up living in Hawaii, California, and Chicago. She attended Northwestern University as an undergraduate, where she obtained B.S. in Applied Math Engineering and a Kellogg Certificate in Financial Economics. At Notre Dame Law, Sage is the incoming External VP for Asian Pacific American Law Student Association (APALSA) and the incoming Treasurer for the Intellectual Property Law Society (IPLS). This past summer, Sage interned at Pro Bono Net, an immigration justice non-profit in New York.
Sage enjoys learning and exploring new ideas and hobbies. In 2021, Sage began learning tennis, which has become her favorite sport since. As a 1L, Sage picked up baking, focusing on baguettes and focaccias with hopes to expand her recipes in the upcoming year. Fun fact about Sage: Sage is confident in her ability to handle spice in her food and always keeps a variety of hot sauces (and chemicals, e.g., Capsaicin) in her pantry for the extra kick when she cooks.
